About Us
Dr. Ambedkar NRI Association was formed in Maryland, USA on October 21, 2006. The main objective of the ambedkarites, who participated in the meeting, was to promote poor Dalits in India. These ambedkarites had a pain for the atrocities happening on Dalits in India.
This organization is registered in Maryland and will get 501(C)(3) status soon in USA. This association will be contacting to other Dalit Organizations, (organizations having FCRA status), in India for collaborative ground work in the field. Association will try to find funds from charitable funding agencies and spend those funds in India with the help of collaborative organizations in India by keeping in mind the aims and By Laws of the association.
