Dr. AMBEDKAR NRI ASSOCIATION
BY-LAWS

The principal office for transaction of the business of the Association is fixed and located at 1315 Sudvale Road, Baltimore, Maryland, USA. The Association also may have branches/subsidiary offices at such other places as the Board of Directors may designate. The Board of Directors also may relocate the place of business to meet the growing needs of the Association.

ARTICLE III. – OBJECTIVES, FUNCTIONS, AND NONDISCRIMINATORY POLICIES
Section 1.  The objectives for which this Association is formed are to provide educational assistance and conduct rehabilitation programs for the poorly educated, illiterate, physically handicapped, and orphaned in India. The following objectives are our primary focus, which may be amended upon the Board of Director’s discretion.

i. Promotion of Social Justice

  1. Launch an awareness campaign for the prevention of atrocities and the promotion of social justice
  2. Provide legal guidance for the protection against oppressive acts, land-grabbing, and all forms of violence

ii. Education

  1. Establish educational institutions
  2. Train teachers for rural schools
  3. Provide training for technically skilled trades

iii. Health Care

  1. Introduce basic health care and early stage medical care
  2. Initiate and promote health clinics for villages
  3. Provide guidance to visiting nurses and health care workers

v. Promotion of the Principles of Dr. Ambedkar

  1. Create awareness in India and abroad of the need for the Dr. Ambedkar NRI Association
  2. Create Dr. Ambedkar study and research centers around the world
  3. Train people in Dr. Ambedkar’s doctrines and way of life

vi. Dalit Education and Empowerment for Women and Children

  1. Create special care programs for women and children
  2. Provide educational activities for women and children
  3. Provide employment training for women
vii. Dalit Art and Culture
  1. Preserve Dalit culture
  2. Promote Dalit culture

Dalit Women Economic Empowerment Project is running in Haryana from March 201, among 100 scavenger community poor women under supervisions of Mr. Sanjive Gharoo, Phone number 91-921 551 2044. Dr. Bachchu LAL personally contributing for this project.
